The best part is, one gets to take a Rickshaw Ride inside the park for exploration. The Rickshaw pullers have been trained by the park management in bird watching and have quite knowledge.

 

Rishikesh

Once the favorite haunt of the Britons, Lansdowne is an unspoiled hill station of India that is bestowed with the presence of looming mountains carpeted with oak and blue pine forest. Naukuchiatal

A small hill station in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, Naukuchiatal which literally means nine-cornered lake, is embraced by majestic mountains and lush greenery. Beautifully set in the lap of the magnificent Kumaon peaks, it is situated at an altitude of 1,220 meters and is the deepest of all the lakes in the Nainital region. It is also one of the few unspoilt and unpolluted fresh water biomes in India. The lake is fed by an underwater spring that keeps the water level high. Apart from its enthralling lake which offers ample scope for rowing, paddling or yachting, Naukuchiatal is an idyllic location to sight rare butterflies and colourful parades of Himalayan birds.
