Mobikwik.com went live with the new User Interface on 18th Oct 2012. Till today, we got tonnes of emails telling us how much better we look now, how you find Mobikwik more friendly and how it feels more like ‘your very own Mobikwik’. Let us not fly high and also admit that there also were requests for some more revamping. Be assured, we are on them

UI changes are interesting; not only do they make us realize how unfriendly we were before (yes yes, we admit it), the initial few days also enlightened what users would really like to see their site as. It makes us happy when we deliver according to your expectations.

You demanded Speed, here’s what we got for you:
On the older Mobikwik, the homepage took 2.25 seconds to load. On the green and blue version : 5 Seconds. #funnystory? NO.These five seconds not only load your homepage, but also EVERY OTHER page you can possibly access on mobikwik.com (like www.mobikwik.com/onthego). We ensure that all images, all content, everything is loaded in these 5 seconds, so YOU NEVER EVER WAIT AGAIN while navigating through mobikwik.com. We are also working on bringing this down to 3 seconds.

We aim at making Mobikwik the Number One website in its domain of recharges. We also understand that the growth of a company relates proportionally to user trust and satisfaction, and trust comes only when you feel secure. We thus focused very strongly on how we can enhance the security levels of our backend systems. Absolutely NO explicit parameter calls. Every call is implicit, making server calls so sophisticated not even The Bond can crack the code! Demand #2: A secure and reliable system, DELIVERED.

A swanky website does not do well till its users find it usable: another key attribute we did not want to miss when designing the new UI. We wanted to keep it simple, and we wanted the user to know what exactly he can do with Mobikwik. We use this green tab to make it stand out: Recharge your mobile phone, or your DTH or your data card. Fill up exactly what you need, and voila! You’re all set

Our new design is based on very modern design principles. Therefore, it may seem a bit awkward to some to begin with. If it happens to you, remember one thing – you need to use the site through and through to realize the full scale of what we have done.
